Kyle Havens
Co-Founder
Kyle Havens is the operational force driving the brewery project forward. His experience managing large crews and long projects as an environmental consultant for the past 19 years provided the project management skills needed to make Dead Low a reality.
After four years of preparing, including eighteen months of rehab and construction, Kyle and cofounders Paul Ganim and Christine Hall are bringing their vision of a brewery to life. Kyle’s mark on the business includes the evolution of the physical space into a community destination and his mark on the culture. His friendly and approachable style influenced the founding principles for the organization, including the values of being hospitable, having perseverance, demonstrating mindful attention to detail along the journey, and sharing the love of song to communicate what’s important.
Kyle has been a home brewer for almost a decade and was a member of a home craft brew co-operative for many years. Kyle regularly assists Dead Low’s master brewer. On any given day you might find him measuring ingredients, managing the brew process or tasting and testing batches of beer or cider.
As COO and GM, Kyle manages operations for the brewery and restaurant. He’s responsible for running the front- and back-of-house, and most things in between.
